GENERAL MEETING IN AUROVILLE: COVER-UP FOR CBI INQUIRY?
It is with utmost pleasure and gratitude that we see that finally and seriously the Aurovilians (Resident Assembly) decided to call a General Meeting today to discuss issues raised by Shri VikramRam, Shri Paul Vincent & Shri Govind Ranjan after 51 years of corruption apparently under their noses. Although from our sources this is a way to wade off CBI Inquiry in Auroville and agenda of discussion is the Enquiry Committee Report by the Government of India and Shri. Govind Ranjan’s report on Mis Management of Government Grants.
The Resident Assembly well aware of the allegations raised by us for 2 years were not taking action and we were the ones who gave them evidence and Enquiry Report and none took any action but all accepted that there is Deep Rooted Corruption in Auroville. After these more incriminating evidence have surfaced post the 670 pages submitted by us
None of the Aurovilians who are against the Principles of Auroville were removed from Master List i.e. Auroville. In fact cover-up committees were appointed like Oversight Committee who themselves are the accused and even Resident Assembly was not aware of their existence till we at The Auroville Files revealed it to them.
Similarly as seen the Resident Assembly of Auroville comprises only 80 Active Aurovilians and the remaining are never in the meeting and yet to be traced. From our sources the details of 700 Aurovilians are missing in the database of the Resident Assembly Services and are not reachable. Out of 2417 odd residents only 80 are active and these are mostly the people who are accused of running the System of Corruption stealing government grants, donations, colluding with land mafia and destroying the beautiful Auroville project. They also fail to understand that our complaints are in Public Interest and are not individual allegations. We revealed the mass corruption only to uproot the entire Corruption System but somehow with limited understanding the Residents feel it is a personal allegation on x, y & z and are apparently making an excel sheet on it to give their inputs of investigation through what they call “intuitive intelligence”
When the Government of India with experienced IAS officers themselves have said that the inquiry is too complex and is beyond their capacity to invetigate and have recommended central agency investigation (ED, CBI, NIA, IT) to the Ministry of Human Resource development do the Aurovilians feel they have the capacity to do an investigation ? The Residents of Auroville comprise of Foreigners and Indians and the nexus is deep-rooted since 1976 and has grown leaps and bounds till date. The residents do not know law of India, the active members are mostly comprised of the accused and have no foresight and understanding of the allegations. Although we wish the for justice to Sri Aurobindo & The Mother the following should ideally happen if The Resident Assembly is True :
Allegations : Land Encroachments, FEMA, FCRA, PMLA, Benami Properties & Transactions, Forgery, Anti Corruption Act, National Security Threat, Sections under the Indian Penal Code and much more...
a) Dissolve the Working Groups ( Land Board, FAMC & Working Committee ) as they were the ones responsible for direct involvement or indirect involvement by dereliction of duty, giving a blind eye and cover-up and play games to pass a resolution to make Resident Assembly powerless. Even the AO (Accused Officer) of Auroville Foundation has cited the same again and again.
b) Ask Aurovillians to declare their assets as most Aurovilians hold private property which is against the principles of Auroville and bring back all property back to Auroville by asking them to surrender the same. As retorted by a long-standing member of FAMC (Account Department of Auroville) “It is an ethical issue…not a legal issue” They why is Auroville even existing if it does not wish to follow the Principles for which it was founded ?
c) A forensic audit of International Shell Trusts & Accounts which even the Auroville Foundation Office is not aware of
d) Forensic Analysis of Forged Documents
e) Bring back 78 Missing Original Sales Deeds of Auroville Property
f) Get back 700 or more acres of Government Land back to Auroville and arrest the Mafia through their internal Auroville Security (gymnasts and athletes vs machetes and bombs)
g) Forensic Audit of all transitions by FAMC, Bharat Niwas, SAIEER, FACT, KEET & all trusts which are part of Auroville and also trusts which are not a part of Auroville and have Aurovilians as trustees.
h) It is also seen that Donations and Government Grants are invested in shares, debentures, mutual funds, and chit funds.
i) Oust Aurovilians holding private land and stealing donations and money of Auroville – not reward them with more money and awards, without recovering the money like recently seen with one Architect that was accused by Shri Govind Ranjan.
We are aware that there are good Aurovilians but they do not have a voice and fear for their visa, attack by goons, death or being ousted from Auroville for speaking the Truth.
So how can the Government of India allow the Accused / incapable Foreigners and Indians to Investigate allegations on themselves ? And how can Resident Assembly do the above ?
We sincerely hope the Resident Assembly also recommends CBI inquiry as that will show the public, the government and media that Auroville has fairness, ethics, and understanding.
If Sri Aurobindo Society was acquitted in 3 CBI cases filed by Aurovilians and if Aurovilians feel they are right then why fear any CBI probe?
Such a CBI probe will only eradicate corruption and allow the Group Soul of Auroville to blossom. Our main aim is to uproot Corruption not destroy everyone and apprehend residents with minor offences who were either compromised or did so for survival
