The Ministry of Education on Audits & State of Auroville | 2024

The following is the response by the Union of India, represented by the Ministry of Education, in our public interest litigation WP 5961/2020 in the Madras High Court.

Almost everything that has been cited by the Auroville Files since 2017 is noted, while the following is also just the 'tip of the iceberg'.

Even though the government bodies have requested an investigation into key financial frauds, people accused of donation frauds and benami properties are part of the Working Groups. Meanwhile, corruption in Auroville and undue enrichment for decades have yet to be investigated.
